Update on Oba Chandler, Murderer ***

Oba Chandler died today at 4:25pm by lethal injection.  Some of the story of why he died is to be found in the link above.  The man caused untold lasting misery for others.  Read the account for yourself and you will understand.

I feel no compassion, no sorrow for his demise.

Grin and bear it ***

Grins always make life easier.  For those of you that don't like jokes and laughs,  would you rather I make you cry?  None of that today; it's my blog so I'll laugh if I want to and share it with you.  Sometimes we just have to grin and bear it.




Goat for Dinner

The young couple invited their elderly pastor for Sunday dinner.

While they were in the kitchen preparing the meal, the minister asked their son what they were having.

"Goat," the very little boy replied.

"Goat?" replied the startled 'man of the cloth,' "Are you sure about that?"

"Yes I am" said the youngster, just as his parents walked in to overhear him.

"I heard Daddy say to Mommee...this morning."

"Today is just as good as any day

to have 'the old goat' here for dinner."



Understanding Engineer Minds #1


Two engineering students were biking across a university campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?"

The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday, minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike, threw it to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want."

The first engineer nodded approvingly....

and said, "Good choice:
