Can He? I Hope So. ***

Can a surfer kid influence how we use plastic? He certainly influenced me and I'm fairly sure you too will be effected.

In our day to day lives, we often don't realize how much of an impact we have on our environment and the heavy burden we contribute to earth's desecration and destruction.

Below is a short video that shows one result of society's unthinking  disregard for our home, our only home.

I suggest we think next time BEFORE we buy and discard a plastic container.  http://www.nextworldtv.com  gives us more ideas on how to take care of the earth.  Good information each and every time I receive their notice.  Here is their latest offering.

Kyle Theirmann, a 21 year old pro surfer in Santa Cruz, CA
makes his own videos on how we can impact environmental and
social change.

This video, part of the "Surfing For Change" series, is about
ending single use plastic.

Welcome to the east side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii. He
isn't afraid to show you the heartbreaking scenes of pollution
caused by plastic that the tourists never see.

Also featured: Musician Jack Johnson, and Story of Stuff's
Annie Leonard.

How We See Things ***

I took a magical walk down a Bonsai lane.  It totally changes one's physical perspective or is the word perception?

For me it is both.

 I felt to be a Gulliver's giant.
Yet see the little people

Oh, Ye of Little Sleep ***

I haven't slept a wink all night long.  Thoughts marched and crashed in a jumble, only to linger for the longest time after arising.

"Pictures Only" Day

Creations and Wornout Creators

C A, exhausted human, but one who greets each day with hope; some of his creations in background.  He truly is an artist, heart and soul, nothing coming out of books; always thoughtfully thought out and precise.  I'm very proud, pleased and fond of my brother, second to youngest. The cancer post-op.  CA won.

Such a creative but dusty job coming along

Once a nice Creation now being uncreated by Time
 How persistently Nature creates

Another idea from this creator's mind that didn't work out to my satisfaction.  Only some pieces are hard and preserved.  Coated gloss medium and varnish.  I may use them on a wreath.
apple peel, HOT pepper, rose hips, apple core

Esther's Creations - an artist with thread and needle

Reliefing Pain's Creation.  See the red imflammation?

Maude's creator creates my laughter.  Good Creation.

Another creation
 Spilled Oil in the Gulf.

     Castro, another creator.
I enjoyed reading and learning about him.

Happy New Year ***

                    Happy New Year, Everyone!

A perfect sample of celebrations last night to welcome a hopeful new year into our lives. I believe this one was in London. Those pyrotechnic people know how to put on a great show, don't they?  I saw nothing but smiling faces from the many pictures taken in the many places around our world.  Smile and the world smiles with you!

I wish each of you the best of everything for your coming days.  Cherish each moment of every day.
